6 Things That Happen When You Fall in Love!

You Love to sing romantic songs, watch romantic movies, and read romance novels- it’s a whole new feeling when you fall in love!

Romance is in the air, can you feel it?

Love is an overwhelming emotion that takes over when you are head over heels in love. You would go the extra mile and do things that you usually don’t do otherwise. Whether it’s attraction, infatuation, or you are deeply into someone, you feel things at a different level.

Do you know, why?

The feeling of love releases a hormone called oxytocin that affects our hormones and brain. It plays a significant role in developing empathy, trust, sexual activity, and relationship-building. And, thus it is also called the “LOVE HORMONE.”

Not only it affects you psychologically, but it also has some behavioral effects. If you are in love, you will observe occasional dramatization so that you do not miss the mark.

Here are 6 things to notice that happen when you fall in love.

Here’s What Happen When You Fall in Love

Your hormones go crazy

When you fall in love your heart starts beating faster, your cheeks blush, your palms get sweaty and your head goes round and round. Thanks to the chemical rush and hormones that run into your brain and body when you fall in love.

This gives you the feeling of euphoria that is similar to the endorphin-induced. You can do nothing about it, love makes you crazy physically.

Attachment and safety

When it is about love, dopamine is not the only chemical in the race. Oxytocin levels also go up. It raises the feelings of attachment, security, and trust.

This is the reason that you feel comfortable and relaxed with your love partner, especially after your love passes the first early rush. These feelings get stronger after the act of touching, kissing, or sex. Here the oxytocin plays a role. For that reason, it is nicknamed “the love hormone”.

With the release of oxytocin chemicals, the bond gets stronger. It is because it decreases your interest in other alternative partners. Talking in short, the better your partner treats you, the closer you will get to them.

You feel jealous

Usually, people relate the term jealousy with something bad. But it’s a natural emotion which evokes when you feel love for someone. Possessiveness comes natural when you have feelings of love and it lets you pay more attention to your significant other.

In other words, jealousy that is evoked by love can help you maintain a strong commitment to your love partner. You have a fear of losing your partner and thus avoid doing things that can make you lose them.

Jealousy is a positive thing and it’s fine to be jealous. But, make sure you don’t let it take over your emotions and cross the limit. Instead, use it to strengthen your bond by sharing those feelings with your partner.

Do not involve in the act of snooping or making any passive-aggressive remarks about their activities and behavior.

The moment you wake up from sleep in the morning to the time you go to sleep at night, some part of your mind is occupied with the thought of the person you love.

How does your brain remember to think of that person in the morning? Does it not have other important things to think about?

Yes, it does have. But the truth is that this feeling is subconscious and automatic. Your mind is lined up to do so. The person stays in the back of your mind for even an entire day.

It is as crazy as it sounds. You relate everything to the person you love. It is lovely to think of someone now and then. People who are in love think of each other. It is like your love is the sun, and you are a planet- your everything revolves around them.

You start caring about your appearance more

You might have observed that earlier you used to get out of your bed, put on casual shorts and a t-shirt, and head to your work. Lack of excitement is past things, since the time you fell in love, you try to look your best every time.

When you are in love you start combing your hair more often, you start double-checking to make sure you are smelling good, shave more carefully and start going to the gym, instead of falling lazy on your bed after work.

Go out of your way to make them happy

When you fall in love, you do things that you have never considered doing before. Boys take yoga classes and go with their girlfriend to get pedicures. Girls watch wrestling matches and FIFA for hours. And, it is good to admit as it makes the bond stronger.

Are you experiencing any of these things? If yes, cheers to your new love relationship!
