Whether you’re a Big Boss fan or a hater, you cannot stay away from the drama of the house because it always breaks the Internet. Things have changed a lot in the past 14 years around the world, but the unadulterated ridiculousness remains the same in the Big Boss house. How has this show survived for 14 long years is beyond me! Having said that, I can’t help but agree that every episode does give us some unforgettable and absolute fun and crazy moments. The fights, the ugly spats, the controversies – we all live for that drama! It might be the reason why with 13 seasons and the 14th one going strong as fire, Big Boss remains to be one of the most cringy and surprisingly entertaining shows in India.
Therefore, as we near the Grand Finale of season 14, we thought to have a glance back at the most cringe moments from Big Boss.

- When Rakhi Sawant Pulled Off, Well, a Rakhi Sawant!
If you expect anything other than plain absurdity and drama from Rakhi Sawant, it’s on you. She was on the show in season 1 and was unsurprisingly evicted twice. However, the woman took it up a notch this season when she professed her fake love for Abhinav Shukla in a sickening manner. She wrote Abhinav’s name all over her body and went as far as literally tearing off his shorts. Abhinav, his wife, Rubina Dilaik, and other contestants were visibly uncomfortable. The greatest shock was when Salman Khan sided with Rakhi and scolded the couple to make a big deal out of it. What else defines stupidity if not this!
- The Dolly Bindra and Shweta Tiwari ‘Moments’
These two had rifts going on since day one. We cannot forget the big face-off between them when they were discussing the duties of the ‘Big Boss 4’ house. The fight began from discussing kitchen captaincy and went to arguments over gender inequality where Shweta questions why boys can’t do the dishes in the sink. The next thing we saw was Dolly taking the fight to another level by passing insensitive comments against Shweta’s personal life and career in her usual angry, high-pitched, shouting voice. The two didn’t stop at unsavory comments and went on to use cuss words. Several contestants came out in Shweta’s support, and Salman Khan himself lectured Dolly to stay within her limits and not forget that Shweta’s daughter was also watching the show. No wonder we weren’t surprised when she was asked to leave the show a few days after.
- When Madhurima Beat Up Vishal With a Cooking Pan!
The equation ex-lovers Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli shared on Bigg Boss 13 was incomprehensive. Violence is a common occurrence on the show. First lovers and then enemies, this duo first took shelter in a sandal fight and then in water and pan fight (Seriously, what the hell?) When Rashmi Desai asked Vishal to make a cup of tea for her, Madhurima asked for a cup for herself too, but Vishal refused. They got into banter and Madhurima teased Vishal by calling him ‘behenji’. He lost his cool and threw water on her. In a fit of rage, Madhurima angrily hits Vishal with a cooking pan repeatedly and abuses him. The two broke a frying pan, a camera, and their’s and house’s mics. No wonder Bigg Boss gave both of them an earful!
- When the ‘Asking For It’ Episode Happened (and Went Viral)
We all know about Pooja Misrra’s anger issues. It is what got her eliminated from the Bigg Boss house. However, we can’t deny that she was one great contestant for reality TV. Full of cringe, always ready to fight, and violent – she had all the requisites for a reality TV show. She got popular because of her most iconic fight with Shonali Nagrani.
In the ugly banter between the two, we saw them throwing accusations at each other. When Pooja kicked a dustbin to scare off Shonali, the latter irritatingly asks her, “Pooja, what is this behavior?”. She replies in an attitude, “I broke it by mistake” to which Shonali replies, ‘You can’t kick it by mistake’. The argument went on where we see Shonali saying, “But you’re asking for it; you’re dying for it; get off my back”. The audio from this argument went viral over the Internet and made a template for several hilarious memes. The dialogue became iconic globally and celebrities from all over the world including Jahnvi Kapoor and Kim Kardashian recreated it.
- When Salman Khan Made Rakhi Sawant’s Bed (WHAT!)
In the race of bringing craziness to the show, bhai also seems to be competing at times. Remember when our over-enthusiastic bhai himself entered the house (which is a rare sight) to make a point and teach contestants a lesson.
When Nikki Tamboli, who was assigned the task of making beds in the bedroom, refused to make Rakhi Sawant’s bed, Salman Khan took charge. A furious but visibly calm Salman entered the house in a mask, walked straight up to Rakhi’s bedroom, wrapped her blanket, and arranged the items on it. Every participant including Nikki and Rakhi were astonished. However, this wasn’t the first time when Bhai wanted to prove that he is the coolest, nicest, and most enlightened being on the face of this planet. We are talking about the time when Salman entered the house to do dishes and clean toilets in season 13. Well, what can we say – you do not mess with bhai!
