Peppermint oil

You may have used essential oils for aromatherapy and skincare. But the best thing is they help kill cockroaches too. So if you want to keep cockroaches at bay, peppermint oil is the most suitable of all essential oils. 

To make a cockroach killer with peppermint oil, mix it with some salt water. Spray the solution on the infested areas of your kitchen. Continue spraying the solution regularly for better results. 

You can also use eucalyptus essential oil in place of peppermint essential oil. Wipe the kitchen counters with undiluted eucalyptus essential oil. It dries and evaporates into the air, keeping the cockroaches and other pests away from the slab.

Hot water and vinegar

You can easily find both the ingredients in your kitchen. 

To make a mixture, take some hot water and add one portion of white vinegar into it. Stir well. Use this solution to wipe slabs and clean the cooktops. You can also pour the prepared solution into the kitchen drains and keep it overnight. It will disinfect the insides of the pipes and drains which help keep cockroaches from getting into the kitchen.

To use neem in oil form:

Take a spray bottle, mix neem oil and water in it in a small quantity. Spray the solution in the places you have spotted cockroaches.

To use neem in powdered form:

Just sprinkle the neem powder in the infested areas of the kitchen at night and leave it untouched for some time.

You can also make a paste out of neem powder and water. Spray this paste in the infested areas at night.

Cucumber 

Yes, cucumbers can indeed help you with getting rid of cockroaches. It is certainly shocking that this hydrating and tasteful vegetable is also used this way.
