Newest Parents in B-Town! Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja Share First Pic with Their Son and Reveal His Name!
After a month of enjoying their little new blessing in silence, the award-winning actress Sonam Kapoor shared a family pic stating their sons’ name as Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
In her long Instagram post, she said, “ In the Spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives… In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem, who embody immense courage and strength… In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving, and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.”
In another statement, she went ahead to explain the meaning of her son’s name and the significance it holds. “In Hindu scriptures, Vayu is one of the paanch tattvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is an incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and Intelligence in the universe. All the deities of Praana, Indra, Shiva, and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave, and mesmerizingly beautiful. Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family.” Her fellow actresses sent out congratulatory messages to the family.
This is the first child for the 37-year-old and her husband, and they welcomed him on 20th August. She was featured in Vogue magazine, where she talked about her struggles during her pregnancy.
It is now three years since Sonam appeared in a film. She last acted on ‘The Zoya Factor, working with Dulquer Salmaan in 2019. She has, however, been active on her Instagram, sharing pregnancy-related stuff and more!
